Meet the TEAM
Zoe founded MATCHUP in 2021 after eight years in the security industry, where she gained experience in screening, operations, and staffing. Frustrated by the sector’s one-size-fits-all approach, she created MATCHUP to offer a more personalised, relationship-focused recruitment model. Zoe leads with passion, precision, and a strong belief in building solid foundations from the start. Under her direction, MATCHUP prioritises quality over quantity—delivering tailored solutions that meet the evolving needs of both clients and candidates.
ZOE Director
With nearly 10 years in the security industry, Cat brings a wealth of operational experience to MATCHUP. She began in sales and admin support before transitioning into rostering, mobile operations, and project management. Since joining in 2024, she has led resourcing coordination, liaised with clients, and overseen staff training and coverage. Her hands-on knowledge and exceptional organisational skills help ensure our workforce is deployed smoothly and efficiently across all client contracts.

With nearly two decades of experience in recruitment, business development, and client acquisition, Chris leads operations at MATCHUP with a strategic, relationship-first mindset. He’s passionate about disrupting the status quo in the security sector by offering thoughtful & tailored staffing solutions. Chris is known for his deep client understanding, hands-on leadership, and commitment to growth through trust, integrity, and innovation - ensuring that both clients and candidates feel truly heard, valued, and supported at every step.
Tom joined MATCHUP in 2024 after seven years as a Senior Lettings Advisor. He brings a personable, supportive approach to recruitment, combined with excellent communication skills and a strong ability to connect with people. Tom plays a central role in creating smooth recruitment journeys for both clients and candidates. Outside of work, he runs a successful dog-walking business, showing his dedication to trust-building, reliability, and developing lasting relationships - values that also define his role at MATCHUP.

EMILY PA to Director
Emily joined MATCHUP earlier this year after several years in London’s theatre scene as a Production Assistant and Stage Manager. Her creative background developed her strengths in organisation, multitasking, and communication. Initially part of the recruitment team, she now supports Zoe as PA while also providing marketing and admin support. Emily supports the smooth running of day-to-day operations with her detail-oriented mindset, proactive approach and professional attitude.
Abbie joined MATCHUP in July 2024 with five years of experience in the beauty manufacturing industry, where she managed product development and led cross-functional teams. As Office Manager, she coordinates internal operations, communications, and team logistics with a solutions focused mindset. Abbie also serves as MATCHUP’s in-house events planner where she organises everything from office celebrations to team lunches - creating a supportive, well-organised environment that boosts morale and productivity for the entire team.
ABBIE Office Manager
Katrina manages MATCHUP’s financial operations with precision, drawing on her experience in banking and bookkeeping. She handles everything from payroll and invoicing to reporting and compliance, ensuring systems stay accurate and efficient. Despite being in a part-time role, Katrina makes a full-time impact—her attention to detail, trustworthiness, and ability to quietly keep things running behind the scenes makes her an essential part of the MATCHUP team.

Drawing on this experience, she initially joined the Recruitment team and now supports the business in a broader capacity as Zoe’s personal assistant. Emily plays a key role in administrative and marketing support, managing communications, and ensuring the smooth running of operations. Her proactive approach and attention to detail make her an asset to the team.
Becky brings over 20 years of HR experience to MATCHUP, along with a CIPD Level 5 qualification and a background in business studies. She leads on compliance, candidate vetting, and internal HR—ensuring all placements meet the highest standards of trust and reliability. Becky is known for her empathetic nature, active listening skills, and pragmatic approach to problem-solving. She fosters a culture of wellbeing, professionalism, and support, making her a key advocate for people across the business.
